Chocolate Bananamilk Whoopie Pies

For the cake:
1 ½ cups flour
1 cup Sir Bananas® Chocolate Bananamilk
1 ½ sticks butter
1 2/3 cups sugar
¼ cup cocoa powder
2 eggs
½ cup sour cream
½ tbsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
¾ tsp salt

For the filling:
1 package of chocolate chips (12 oz)
1 ½ cups heavy cream
½ cup Sir Bananas® Chocolate Bananamilk


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. In a standing mixer, beat the butter and sugar for 5 minutes
3. Set the speed to low and add the ingredients in this order: eggs, vanilla, baking powder, salt, Sir Bananas® Chocolate Bananamilk, cocoa powder
4. Slowly add in the flour then add the sour cream
5. Pipe the filling onto a cookie sheet into 3 inch rounds and bake in the oven for 15 minutes or cooked through
6. To make the filling, heat the heavy cream and Sir Bananas® Bananamilk on the stove, bringing it to a light boil
7. Pour over your chocolate chips in another bowl and let it sit for 1 minute
8. Use a whisk to start mixing the cream mixture and chocolate chips until the chocolate chips have melted and combined with the cream
9. Place in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes then whip using an electric mixer until it’s light and fluffy
10. Spoon it into a pastry bag and pipe onto your cooled cake rounds, sandwich them, and enjoy!
